Finally I found an original fusible link in useable condition from a 64 or 65 Valiant Slant Six 4-Door at a junkyard. I can't remember if it was a 64 or 65 but I took the harness and the gauges and they were 65 gauges. This is the one that goes from the starter relay to the BATT power connector on the bulkhead connector. I don't know if the color is correct for 65 but according to the 65 Chassis Manual it doesn't call it a fusible link it's just a black wire with a gauge of 6B. I've never heard of 6B. What gauge is that equivalent to? Anyway I'd been wondering what the proper fusible link is for my 65 so I could get it hooked up and running so I found it. Here is a picture in case anyone else needs to know. I would like to find out how to make some more similar to this to keep as spares.
