So we are only in the office on Wednesdays ever since the Covid thing started in March of 2020. Overheard a conversation this morning that went something like this:
You ever get your HVAC ducts cleaned?
Once a few years ago, why?
We had ours done for the 1st time in 20 years. Amazing what came out of them.
How much did that run you?
It costs about $800 - He cut us a deal and added some mold treatment stuff so we paid $1000.
Now I like this guy. We get along great and have known each other around the company for 32 years. I could not keep quiet - I stood up to look over the cubical divider and just had to ask "If it costs $800 and he cut you a deal so you only paid $1000, how does that math work out?"
I got the deer in the headlights look.....
