I had to move the Demon from the garage in the woods to the garage attached to the house today. I did this so that there would be no problems for prospective body guy's to see it and to make sure it didn't get snowed in.

What makes it a big day is the fact that this was the first time that the car actually moved or was driven since I started this project.

The move was not perfect, but that was to be expected. I had a tranny line leak, but that was fixed fast. That was the only mechanical problem.

On to the funny stuff. Because we have snow on the ground, I had a plan. I would use the truck if the car got stuck. Those things tend to happen when you have M/T Sportsman pros on the backend. Anyway, the wife gets in the truck, pulls me 20 feet and drives the truck in the ditch. She said something about watching me, and I bit my tongue. Can't piss of the wife at this point. I got the truck out of the ditch and proceeded to get the Demon out. After this it wasn't to bad. I needed a bit of a tow to get up to the driveway but that went well. The wife even got behind the wheel and felt the power. She was very impressed.

So the car is safe in it's temporary home and hopefully soon it will have a new skin colour.

I made the mistake of driving the Barracuda around the block one day after it snow. That was with the 28X13.5" Hoosier on the back. Big mistake when I got to the hill.

Good thing about not pissing off the wife....always keep that a priority number one!

The one and only day I've driven my car in the snow was to bring my daughter home from the hospital. It was a HUGE snow storm, I thought we were going to crash!

Car look's great

As long as ya made it to the other garage without any damage in those conditions it definately would have to considered a successful trip. Good job and a good team effort, hey just be happy your wife was willing to help out.

Great move. I have to wait till the weather warms up before I make the move from next to the garage to in the garage. I still park my dailey driver in there no need to scrap frost off at 5am.
