I have a leak in my trucks radiator and have to get home, hitting a parts store to buy a new radiator i n thr process. I look up remedies and i come across pepper Which i have heard from my old man, but then i read mustard powder, paprika, cornmeal? Then the kicker...eggs! Sounds like they are making egg drop soup! Seems the eggs cook and become gelatinous in the hot radiator water and they are eventually forced out the pinhole until it plugs with boiled egg. That id like to see! word to the wise...if your temp gauge ever reads NO temp, you are probably out of coolant!

Heard of that old remedie for years now,'but you only use the whites and seperate the yolk out! Never tried it though!! Geof

The old remedies worked on the brass style radiators but who knows with this aluminum/plastic chit we have now.

I would hope some house wife would be kind enough to give you an egg if you needed it because you were broken down.
