I hate seeing 2 Mopars go up against each other.
It means one is going home early.
 
It was a hard choice Monster Mopar (400 mile round-trip) or three 10,000.00 to win races and one 5000.00 gamers race at my local track Keystone (80 mile round trip). Both need the motorhome but I had to pick the local race. This is the thrid and last year on this engine combo and it needed some maintance this week. I get 2 plus years out of my waterpump gaskets and engine plate before it starts leaking so I tore the front apart and put new gaskets on, set the valves, and changed the oil. Sure would be nice to bring home one of those BIG checks.

Better luck next time John. That thing 60’s like a BEAST. I still need to come down and visit with you this winter and chew the rag a bit. Need some advice on my stroker build.

your 60ft times are amazing you really got the chassis figured out....for that matter the whole package.

I hear ya but I kinda got an excuse. I had a set of tires go away so in order to get through a couple of races tweaked the suspension and my driving style and even went some rounds with a junk car. Changed the tires for last week and it was real bad so I adjusted things again. I worked on it all last week doing what I thought it needed and guessed right but I didn’t put the shocks back to my old settings thinking it would be ok on a hot track. I was wrong so I just made the change for next weeks divisional race. Fingers crossed.
