My Barracuda is headed to the engine builder this week. I'm looking for throttle and kickdown linkage for a 340/727 combo. I need everything from the carb to the tranny. I've checked out Herb's, Year One, ebay, and others. I've seen prices anywhere from $12.50 to $350.00. It doesn't have to be NOS for me. This isn't the correct engine for my car, so it doesn't matter.

Just a thought if it doesn't have to be stock use the lokar kickdown and throttle cable. Make sure you get the bracket that mounts to the carb bolt as well. I installed mine and it works great. Let me know if you need pics I can take a few. Installed both units in about 45 mins total (thats with the adjustment of the kickdown too!) :burnout:

The total cost was about 100 bucks i think maybe less

The Bouchillon Performance set-up is another option. I have one car with the Lokar kick-down and another one with the Bouchillon kick-down. The Bouchillon version has a push-button throttle pressure adjustment; VERY EASY.
