Hey, wanted to get some thoughts if this spring should be here. In the picture you can see the spring attached to the throttle lever linkage. Other images and the service manual do not show a spring. The engine and trans is out of a 1987 gran fury fyi. Thanks.

Pretty hard to tell for sure with a picture showing just the back side but from what little I can tell it doesn't look factory to me. If you can take a picture of the side it's actually hooking up to that'd be a huge help
