been scratching my head on this for a long time, but now i seem to have it
figured out. 340/727. have someone push accelerator all way to floor and
hold there. open carb all way. push kd linkage all way back and hold. adjust
or screw kd cable so inside of slot just touches carb throttle arm. let upon on all linkages. now unscrew/ lengthen kd adjustment 2-3 turns. this should
give proper shift points and passing gear.
note: make sure you put pin/ drill bit thru kd bellcrank holes first for proper
alignment of trans linkage. hope this helps someone.
