Throttle Return Spring Bracket

Hey y'all, I'm finishing up this 340 and this is the only return spring bracket I have. I have 2 340's and kinda mixed up the parts and it's been a long time but doesn't really matter cause this will work fine. I'm just wondering what the extra appendage in the circled are is for?

That throttle bracket would have been turned and there was a spot on the OEM intake for the other "tab" to sit in.

I kinda figured something like that. I should have just went to the storage shed and looked at the original. Sure as hell, little hole there.
I thought this Mopar Performance manifold was identical only made from aluminum. Thanks for the response. I might drill the hole in this manifold.
