Not sure if this answers your question or not .
But on My stock 72' 318 2bbl dart there is a boss in between the 1st and second intake manifold bolts that the throttle return spring bracket is bolted to.

thank you i think that will be it but im guna have to wait cuz one of the intake manifold bolts snapped in my head as i was toqueing it down sooo](*,)
