Thumb wheel radio question?

Hello all,wanted to know what the thumb wheels on the right-hand side control? Im thinking tone and? maybe. Thanks for all your help........sabre67

Yes, bass to treble on AM radios.

Unfortunately no. They should move in unison. If it was am/fm, one would be bass/treble and the other would change between am/fm

Nope. The wheels are connected and work as one. On the AM/FM radios, the wheel furthest to the right switches modes, while the inner wheel is tone.

ok checked it out, yes they both move in unision,however the 5 push buttons are not working to change station. Is that function repairable"? Thanks

Does the needle move across the dial when you move the thumb wheel?

yes it works manually, but not with the buttons

Peel the cover off(take pics 1st) and inspect, but the push buttons can be fixed.

Did you try setting a preset? Move the needle to a spot. Pull out the first button then push it all the way in. Move the needle then push the first button and the needle should go back.
