John surprised you didn't bring up French Connection. Another good chase Movie. Gene Hackman.

I tend to struggle with classifying all car chase scene movies along with my vision of iconic car movies. Usually the vehicles have to be classic hot rod muscle or at least have cars as their center theme. I like Hackman. He was one scary S.O.B. in Unforgiven. - Sort of like George Kennedy in Thunderbolt & Lightfoot.

Clint Walker. I remember him in The Dirty Dozen, don't know what car themed shows he did though.

I was gonna guess Fess Parker. I knew I knew the face from somewhere but was thrown trying to tie it to a car themed show. The closest I could find was that he appeared in an episode of 77 SUNSET STRIP.
