tilt column swap wires

does any one have a directional wire diagram for an 82 mirada ? i am trying to use a tilt column with 8 wires in my non tilt car that has 9 wires , or has anyone done this swap?tks gjg

You will need a wiring schematic for both cars. Determine which wires are needed, which are not. Wire accordingly.

I am using a modified J Body harness with a J Body floor shift steering column. This is right out of the 82 shop manual

tks my directional harness has 9 wires last2 are black -new older J body has 8 wires tks i am color blind so this will help me tks again for taking the time to help .gjg
