are the timing chain covers for LA 318 and the Magnum 318 interchangable?

Could be wrong, but I don't think the Magnum covers have a fuel pump boss since they were all fuel infected. That's the only difference I can think of.

correct, No fuel pump on a mag cover.

Correct. Be aware the magnums also have a reverse rotation water pump.

ok so if im putting an LA timing chain cover on a magnum then it should fit without a problem, right? i know ill have to get an LA water pump and the whole accessory kit
