On a 340 cu inch, or any small block mopar, how big of cam can be installed before dot to dot on the timing gears is either advanced or retarded. TOTALLY CLUELESS I AM!

the cam is not going to change the dot to dot adv/or retard you can change that buy useing the 3 key way timing set....hope that helps...

If you are worried about it being advanced or retarded, you really should degree it..or have someone help you do so. Thats the best way to get the most out of your new bump stick. but as mentioned, dot to dot 'should be okay', but not optimal likely
