Tips for a engine reseal?

-
I get the sliver powder "worlds best stop leak" and put about 1/8 - 1/4 of the tube in the radiator, then run the car for 30-40 minutes and it finds all the thread leaks and seals them.

Seriously ? You put stop leak in a perfectly fine motor ??

Yeah I can't just shell out another 200 right now I still owe on taxes

not trying to spend your money (I don't even like spending mine) but your math is off
the 200 dollars for that kit includes the gasket kit

you already have one, so all you need is a set off rings and a set of bearings

here is a set of regular rings, $24.99

here is a set of moly rings, $44.99

and here is a set of main and rod bearings for $67.53 (might be able to find those cheaper, I don't know)

so, your only looking for a nother $100ish to rering and put new bearings in

oh, and don't let your girlfriend tell you how to spend your money...that is a right reserved for wives ;)

She dont tell me how, but can throw some serious shade, when i tell her my budget for things and bills is tight, when i have just bought a parade of car parts.

And these parts quote dont include a thin headgasket i will have to get, because the summit seal kit surely included a big fat thick one...
