Tire Size

This question has probably been asked a 1000 times so forgive me if I ask again.
What is the largest 14" tire that I can put on the rear of my 72 Duster, without relocating the springs ?

Largest radial tire available is a P245/60R14... Not very big and it will fit.

The P245/60 R14s look great on the rear of a Duster and should clear with no problem. I tried them on a stock 72 Scamp and they were a no-go due to scraping the fender skirts. I only had a 3.5" backspaciing on my 14x7 wheels, so with a little more backspacing, they may have fit. Not sure if a P235/60 R14 will work on the front, but those would be nice with the 245s on the rear if the fit OK.
