today's medical report: uric acid

-
I'm good for two or three kidney stones a year from uric acid.
It sucks, but better than the alternative.
Not sure that I could deal with the gout.

Must be in the water.... I'm up the street from you in Wilmington. I have the occasional gout flare up, but never had a kidney stone. Would prefer to never have one either.

I have the big toe pain (when I haven't stubbed it) and the ankle. Usually, with a bit of work, I can "crack" the ankle pain away. The toe will once in awhile but berberine helps a bunch. So would laying off the sweets...

Doc said it's usually one extreme or another. My dad and grandfather both deal/dealt with kidney stones.
I don't wish a kidney stone on anybody. Also don't want to ever deal with gout either.

lol for years i thought i had mysteriously stubbed my toe. Crazy part is my brother (twin) had experienced gout attacks for several years prior and i never put two and two together.
