After pulling the engine out of the dart i notice when pushing her forward the left tire would stay stright but the right one would turn inward.Ok right lower bushing was shot replaced it upper bushing ball joints, and after geting her back on the tires it still does the same thing.I can grab the steering wheel and strighten it out when its sitting still.Someone has had a try at alinement there are new cam bolts so that is a hint someone has tryed. So is this a toe problim.any thoughts please.

Center the steering wheel and adjust the tie rods as best you can by eye trying to have both tires pointing straight. This will help with the toe problem temporarily.

You've had the whole front end apart....it needs an alignment.

The strut rod bushings are new but loose i will tighten them up some.Thing is its a little hard to push.

Goldduster318 I went out and snug them up the strut bushings. Now she comes out alot straighter of my shelter now.So hows does the strut rod bushings keep it straighter.

the strut rod triangulates the lower control arm. If its not tight the lower control arm can deflect backward and change the direction of the tires.

My car didn't have a bushing at all when I got it on the right side. That's why the car danced all over the place.

pettybluedart yes uppers are done,no motor in her yet.goldduster318 I here ya there this dart had no right side bushing left either when we puled the lower off the k frame the pivit shaft fell right out on its own.Thats what started the hole front rebuild. How tight should the strut rod bushing be torque to 65 pounds sound right.
