I spoke to Scott Brown at Straightline perf. and am looking at the grind that dusterb318 has been running, but I am wondering if I don't have enough stall for a cam like that? I have a factory high stall converter from a mid 80's cop car in an A999 wide ratio. If anyone here can advise me, dusterb318 was running a 25-2800 stall and switched to a 3500, but he races it and is on the bottle, I have considered running a 75 shot for fun, but this car is my driver, will my 2000-2200 stall be ok with this solid grind? It is a 220-228 at less than .500 lift on a 112, before I buy I just wanted to get some opinions. I have seen comp 224-230 cams with similar lift rated at 1600 "works best with 2000 stall" so I'm hoping this little solid will be perfect. Any advise? My rear will be a 3.91 as soon as I can get it built, but will be highway gears till then.

I'm surprised no one answered this yet. Your 112 lobe center looks good for street. At 220-224 @ .050, the cam would seem to operate with a 2000-2200 convertor. It looks comparable to Comp Cams XE268. According to Scott @ Straightline, what RPM range does your cam work at? I would give him a call back and have him recommend a convertor.
