That's great and hope you had fun.

On the launch try winding the engine up just a little. Maybe 1500-2000 rpm. I'm guessing with the 7.25, you are trying to be careful.

What were the 60' and 1/8 mile numbers? I'll guess 2.2-2.3 range for 60' and 9.30ish in the 1/8. It's got another .5 seconds in it if you can launch it well.

I got a 2.17 60 ft and 9.8 1/8th mile. My fastest run was a launch at 1300. I tried one at 1800 and i got a good launch but I let off because I heard the tires spin a little and should have stayed in it, and still ran a 15.2. Then on the last run I tried again and the one tire just lit up. lol and Thanks!

I have same engine and rear in mine and 89 was as fast as I could get, and wonder how fast I could get with like 3.55 if I chAnged the rear haha

I was getting around 90.28-91.3 every run except my first. I'm looking for a rear end right now because this 2.76 just dogs off the line and I don't even get into 3rd gear. I think it would help quite a bit.

I have a 8 1/4 but don't have the money for a new rive shaft brake drums pads and rims to put it in at the moment and wouldn't do me any good till I can afford the lower gears anyway , came out of a 318 duster
