torq specs please on 8 3/4 center section

Can someone please tell me what the torq specs are on the 8 3/4 center section is 742 case . Thanks
 

68 Plymouth manual:

8 3/4 carrier to axle housing bolt nuts = 45 ft*lb

Page 3-43 at the bottom...
 
Kudos to kuda, i couldnt find any torque specs in my motors manual book, can't believe it, lots of other info on the rear backlash etc just not that

Do yourself a favor and use the link I provided above in my first post to download some free service manuals for your car...

They are the bible for information on our cars, much better than the aftermarket service manuals...

You can also click and save the picture of the specs and use photo programs to zoom in on the info. It lists all the torques for the axle...
 
Thanks kuda, its a original motors manual, covers 66-72 mopar chevy ford etc. published in 1977 kinda fun to search that old book, a lot of info on wiring and engine specs and otger good info, just not that specific. I didnt torque my third member in, just tightened it up following a one across from the other torque sequence.

I like to follow the factory torque specs. They wouldn't spend the time to make them if it wasn't important...

Less things fall apart when you torque them properly... I also chase my threads with a tap and die so they go together easier and get more accurate torque...
