Hello FABO.
I'm curious on how a converter that flashes at 3800 RPMs in a 3200lb car with 500HP
would act in my car with 325HP and approximately the same 3200lb weight? Will it remain the same or be higher or lower? I'm planning on a new custom built converter for next season but considering this used converter in the interim. Appreciate any light you guys can shed on this and understand more info may be required to answer the question. Thank you

Generally speaking, all other things remaining the same, the more torque and HP going into the converter, the higher it will flash.

That's what I was afraid of. Thank you for the response.

Depends. Example: If that 500 hp engine was a high winding 273 and the engine you replaced it with is a 325 hp stock 440, the 325 hp engine might stall the converter higher. The reason being, the 273 might only have a peak torque of 400 at 5000 rpm, whereas the stock 440 may make 450+ at 3000.
