Torque converter question

I have a fresh 273 commando motor and a fresh 904 with mild shift kit, going in a Valiant: What torque converter do i need? I am not going to race, want it streetable (but spunky is okay as long as it doesn't become to rough driving)

well u have to really take into consideration rear end gears, tire dia, camshaft, all kinda of stuff! look up smrtrans.com

If the engine is stock you don't need anything bigger than 23-2500 stall to give it a nice boost off the line. If it's cammed up you might need more. Some more info on the engine would be helpful. Also what gears are you running?

mild cam ive used stock /6 trk converters behind my 340 never an issue ... an they are cheap .... i think my last one cost me 50 some dollars an they flash around 1800
