Hi all,

Now that the 360 Magnum I've been building is complete, I'm now thinking of the best torque converter to couple it with. My Dart has a 904 trans, 3:23 Sure grip, Engine is built with a Lunati cam with these specs: Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller. Good high performance street cam with slight lope. Works with all power acces- sories. Fair idle.; Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 276/284; Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 210/218; Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .492/.492; LSA/ICL: 112/106; Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd; RPM Range: 1200-5200.

What would you suggest for a torque converter stall? Preferred manufacturer?

Thanks!

About 2500-3000. Any more than that is a waste.

The only accurate way to get the right convertor is to contact a convertor company, give them the cars use, specs and dyno sheets. In a perfect world, the convertor should be 300-500RPM over the RPM where the engine makes peak torque. In a street car, there may need to be a compromise made.
