tranny mount

when doing the 440 727 swap what tranny mount do i get. my original was 904 mount which one do i need? my crossmember has 1 bolt comin thru for mount

I cant speak for anything older than my '74 Duster but when I swapped in my 440/727 I used the original transmission crossmember (That I re-welded and re-enforced) with a poly transmission mount. No big modifications were needed.

Within given year ranges all a-bodies used the same trans mount, regardless of engine/trans combinations. So, put simply, use your original.

The 73-up crossmember and mount is a better mount and will fit earlier cars. Its the one pictured in wjaholic's post.

use your stocker just slot the hole t ofit. one of my cars i made my own spool mount with 2"x 1/4" flatbar.
