So I just got the '73 Dart home and attempted to put on the 14" Centerline rims and tires that came with the car. However, to my suprise the wheels have a 4.5" pattern, and my Dart has a 4" pattern.

My research tells me that this is a fairly common issue, and my question is whether or not these would be a viable option to use until I can come up with a more permanant option.

I'm not sure what the backspacing is on the Centerlines, but they have P215/60R14 tires mounted to them. Will I have clearance issues while running the adapters?

Like I said before, these will be a temporary solution to get the Dart on the road ASAP. I'll install them with thread locker and re-check for tightness periodically.

I decided wheel adapters weren't the best option for me. I got a deal on a set of tires for the stock steelies, so I'll run those for the time being.

Keep an eye out for an ad for some BBP centerlines with good tires soon.
