Hi, anyone know a good trans guy for my # matching 727 in atlanta??
Would appreciate a good lead.
Thanks
Ken

You ever rebuild an engine. A 727 is easier...

Videos and books available. Do it yourself and save a bunch of $.

I don't know anyone in the Atlanta area to recommend.

Don't know a good Good shop around but if you want to tackle it yourself I am willing to assist and have the correct tools to do it.

727's are pretty easy and as long as it has not been grenaded and just needs some freshing its a light task.

I have rebuilt every one in all my previous cars and trucks and never had one that did not freshen up nicely.

Are you looking for stock rebuild or some performance improvements?

Are you familiar with the 904 too?

Yup. It's about 75 miles south of you in Milledgeville. C&R Transmissions. Rodney Byrd and Charles Newsome own it. They are friends of mine. They are both Mopar guys. Rodney is probably the best Mopar transmission guy in the state. Possibly the Southeast. They both race Mopars and drive them on the street.

RRR, do these guys work on manuals as well? I have an A833 that needs gone through.
