So I need to get a slip yoke for the 727 swap we just did. Is it the same as any of the late model RWD truck autos? I have a couple parts yards near by, and Ive seen a few Dodge trucks, but no old RWD mopar cars.

i got mine out of a mid 70s dodge van. im sure the truck 727 is the same. they are 29 spline

read through here : towards the bottom

any A-518 and 46RE should have the same yolk your looking for

the 904 A500 and 42RE won't have what your looking for

Thanks for the info.....now I just need some time to go look. shouldnt be to hard to find

They are different, you need a slip for a 727 the 18, and rh, re, etc versions all use a different spline cut from the 727 and will bind

Superman's right. The newer ones won't work right. Gotta be one for a 727.

Mattsinger, pretty sure I have an extra one I'd let you have for a good deal. It's the small 7260 U-joint size. If that's what you need PM me and I'll look and see if I still got the one I was thinking of.

Fishy
Got the part today...Thanks
Tried to leave you some positive feedback, but it kept saying invalid
Either way, thanks for the help

Glad to help Matt. TNX for trying to leave feedback. I imagine it won't let you because I never had it listed for sale in the parts for sale section.
