I want to buy a Transbrake valve body for a Torqueflight. No one seems to have a bad word for them. I've e-mailed them a couple of times but don't get any reply. I can't ring 'em coz' I'm in Australia half a world away. Are they still in business? Or does some one here have a spare they would consider selling me?
Cheers
Tony

I have 3 of his transbrakes including one was bought back in 1993 and is still being used....all have worked excellent...

CRT....Cope Racing Transmission has a new line of transbrakes coming out....If you can not get ahold of Joe at Tranzact ...give John at CRT a call...

If he is buying a transbrake.....turbo action would not be my 1st choice....had one...sold it ...bought a tranzact cause I got tired of having the brake not lock up....but then again...what do i know...only been using transbrakes for 20 plus years..

Thanks all Joe has gotten back to my e-mail. I have a Turbo Action Converter but don't want their valve body as it not a LBA type. Also when I wanted to contact Turbo Action about making a change to my converter they have no means to contact them if you live on the opposite site of the planet. Nice converter but given we live in global economy often online I thought that was pretty ordinary.

Cheers and thanks again for you replys

T/A wouldn't be my first choice in a trans brake either... I've had a tranz act in my old car and that was one quick brake. I've also got two Griners and sold the other that was a LBA. I presently run a Pro Trans clean N brake which I really like.
