transgo drill plate used on wrong year of trans

Hello,

After installing my TF-1 kit my car feels like it is binding/fighting itself in forward gears, wont move, has reverse.

So i reviewed my instructions on my TF-1 kit and found that i used the drill plate and spacer provided on my 73 727, in the instructions it says 1977 and up. Could this be my problem? Any help is appriciated. Thanks folks.

I hope i uploaded the pics correctly, if you look at the page at the top it says 1977up V-8 trans with lock up. I know i dont hae lock-up, and the trans is a 73, this must be my problem? Thank you:banghead:

The 1977 and up doesn't refer to the drill plate. That plate is the same for all torqueflites. How did you adjust the front band, or did you adjust it?
