I was just wondering what this number means, 3410432-2. It was on the drivers side of the transmission housing above the transmission pan.

Thanks

its a part number. there's a chart out somewhere ( I used to have the site before my computer crashed) that lists all of the part numbers and tells what they came out of originally.

I can mail it to you pm your e-mail to me. It is to large to post.

I do not see 3410432 but it is in the time line on the chart from the late 60s.

I do not see 3410432 on my reference guide either. You should have a complete seies of numbers that are in this order. Assembley plant, part #, build date, build sequence in day. Example(PK 3410432 2905 6299. All the 3410 numbers in my guide are showing 1970. The numbers are hard to see. Are the last three digits definately 432.

I will check again, I looked at it late last night.

I checked in my 70-71 Chrysler Parts manual and couldn't find 3410 432 either. Please re-check the last 3 digits of this number and I think you'll find they're something other than 432. I'm looking for a trans with number 3410 769 that fit 70 A & E bodies with a 340. I'd be very interested in finding out what you have!

Here is a pic I took there was a 73 and then boxes and then the number you see in the pic. The one pic is how it came out and the second one I zoomed in and took a screen shot. Also on the right side of the trans there was the number 3B422673.
