I just installed a trans temp gauge. What is the normal operating temp for a 727?

Well it of course depends on how you drive, what you drive, t convertor etc.
But after 180 the life of the fluid dies quick. But it is OK on ATF Dextron and Type F to about 200, but I stay in the 160-180 range unless I do major racing, burnouts etc..
