I have a Tremec TKO-500 5 speed transmission that has never been used, still new in the box! This transmission can be used in any car that has the right bellhousing, but this one has been modified by Keisler to fit around the transmission tunnel hump cross member in a 67-76 Maopar A body (dart, duster, scamp, valient, demon). The gear raitos are: 1st 3.27, 2nd 1.97, 3rd 1.34, 4th 1.00, and 5th 0.68. I have the installation instructions that go along with this also. This also has the hydraulic throughout bearing installed on it. I will also include the shifter handle and white knob. Located in Vancouver, WA.

$2000 obo

The case is modified to fit around the torsion bar crossmember so that you don't have to cut it out.

Still for sale. It's been awhile, but I think I have got some pictures.

I do not have anything else that goes with it. I just know the parts needed to do the conversion since I have one installed in my 70 dart. I can however copy the tranny cross member on to paper so that it can be easily built.

how does shifter placement line up factory hump hole on a-body ?
can you use factory hole & boot with your shifter ?
also how much forward or rear in inches would crossmember that would have to be made or modified for a-body ?
Thanks

The hole is in the center of the hump instead of offset to the drivers side like a standard 4 speed. My shifter puts the shift knob in stock location though. I'll see if I can get a picture of it later today to show how it looks installed. You can use your stock boot for the shifter. As far as the crossmember, I'll also have to check and see what that looks like also. From what I remember, I don't think there is very much offset if there is any at all.
