Trunk lid alignment

Any secrets to adjusting a trunk lid. It is a 71 Demon and is defeating me badly.

There are lots of videos that cover body adjustments. Not exactly for the Demon, but it'll get you going.

X2, how is it setting ? is the back to low or high : or is it to close on left/right rear corner and to far on the front right/left corner or high on one side and low on the other side, more info will be needed to help. A picture will do wonders

And when you do get it aligned take a small drill and go thru the hinges into the lid..and then see to it that the particular bit used never strays to far from the trunk....my body guy did this just in case the lid ever needs to come off again.....

I got in my trunk then had the wife close it. I then backed off the 4 bolts.
Next I had the wife push the lid down so it was aligned then I pulled
the bolts back down.

Worked the first time doing it this way.
