Trunk Lid Fitment Nightmare

I cannot seem to get my trunk lid aligned, im hoping its not an issue with the 1/4s or tail panel.
the passenger side fits ok, but the driver side is all sorts of fucked up, i can push it down to fit fine without the lock in, but once i put the lock in and have it lock down it sets all wonky

bent hinges? maybe the lock is holding it in a way that shoves it to one side?

Latch need to be adjusted fer sure.

There's lots of adjustment at the hinges as well,front to back and up and down on the window side of trunk. Maybe remove latch and adjust lid to sit perfect then install and adjust latch.

I see body filler. Hopefully your Quarter panel isn't tweaked in . Measure your decklid width and opening width. You should have around 1/2" wider opening between quarters than decklid .
