Anybody have a trunk light switch ?

It is the switch that attaches to the edge of the trunk opening.

Let me know.

Thanks
John

I'm almost positive it's the same as the door jamb switch.

Don't know on that. I do know it is wired up with a plug that hooks right in to the rear light harness.

I have one I took out of a 75 Duster but I jacked up the threads when I took it off and don't think it is usable any more.

Sorry, after looking, I think it's the same as a pre-70 door jamb switch. Like a Standard Ignition/ Blue Streak DS173.

where does the light attach to? Was there one spot or different spots per year and model?

I had just planned on doing one from an under hood application... My old furd ranger used to have a hood light that had some sort of tilt switch built into the fixture... just run power to it and it turns on when the trunk/hood opens, but then again, it's not stock. Just throwing out an option...
