Trunk Lock

Looking for a trunk lock, key and rod for my 1970 Duster

I have the inside trunk latch/mechanism assembly already

Is the lock part model and year specific?

Or, what other models would the lock assembly work in my Duster?

I bought this but the connecting flat bar won't reach the latch mechanism

So, I guess I need to either find the correct rod or buy something else
