I'm installing the trunk seal on my 73 Dart.
I've been told that there's two different gaskets for this year. My original gasket is long gone so I can't compare it with the one that came in the Metro seal kit I ordered. I was sent the "D" shaped seal.
Does it look like the correct gasket? Am I installing it correctly?

Hard to tell but you should end the two seams where they meet at the bottom of the trunk channel in other words end the two seams centered of the tail light panel. Hope this help
 
One thing I remeber bout when I do e mine. Dont follow around the corners so much. If u do your trunk will not close. And to adjust it to close it will stick ip higher than quarters. Wait for other to show pics of the correct placement. Good luck
