Trying to find an acceptable replacement for Hub Caps

Greetings!

I am in the process of trying to find some different, more appealing, hub caps for my 74 Valiant Brougham. On top of being unattractive, someone tried to paint the centercaps and it is attrocious. I know there are some no-no's involved in interchanging these types of parts, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of a style that would look good and not be totally wrong.

Will a dog dish hub cap fit on your wheels, I think they will
Dog dish caps and paint the wheel "Wheel Black" could be an option
