Hi everyone,

I’m looking at buying a torque converter from TSI (Transmission Specialties), specifically the 10400MSXHD for my 727, and I’m wondering if anyone here has experience with their converters?

How is the quality, stall accuracy, drivability, and overall durability?
Any real‑world feedback would be great.

I also have a technical question:
On TSI’s website, this converter is listed as 31 spline, but as far as I know a stock Torqueflite 727 input shaft has 24 splines.
I’ve never heard of a 31‑spline input shaft for a 727.

Thanks in advance!
Daniel

727 spline count>>Early 19 spline, later 24 spline, and on the lockup 23 spline.
