I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately about the TTIs and have directions, but sometimes directions are not always 100% true.

I have the stock floor shifter and read where it says the lower bell crank for the kickdown and stud must be shortened 3/4" and re-welded. Along with this as well, the lower shifter plate arm is to be cut and rewelded by 1/4".

Can someone with a stock (non-cable)floor shift confirm this.

I think I've read "all" the forum threads and haven't heard anyone state anything about these mod areas or.....***** or have problems. No sence in cutting stuff up if it's not really required or I'm reading the directions wrong

Thanks again :headbang:

remember reading about it then i just started installing the headers went without any problems and without any modification, but it could be just me since nothing is stock or corect on my car exept for the importand stuff like enginelocation
