Tubular Control arms

OK here is one for you guys I have installed Just Suspensions tubular upper control arms in my 70 Dart I had to replace the Upper control arms ball joints my problem is this i installed the correct joint but my problem is this the grease boot will not attach itself to the joint because the area that the joint screws into is to think meaning the ball joint does not tighten through the entire arm. Does someone make a longer ball joint that is for the 1963/72 model year the 1 13/16 small joint, that has more thread depth??? Thanks for you help in advance
