ended up breaking the shift linkage pulling the car on the trailor so i didnt make it out, im shooting for friday if the ran lets up,
i ran 12.79 @ 100mph (old setup) with a 5.9 magnum engine out of a dakota, with stock unported edelbrocks, edebrock intake 650cfm edelbrock carb off the shelf, stock dakota cam 1.6rr no stall converter street tires and 3.55 gears.
id be disappointed if the car doesnt break 11.50s with my new set up.

360 395 hp mp crate engine
ported edelbrock heads (flows around 280 at 550 lift)
im running 1.7rr with overall lift of .555 108lsa .301 duration
3800 hughes converter
3.91 gears
1 3/4 headers
750 speed demon
2 in spacer
drag radials
my friend has a duster with a simalar setup but the car weighs 300 lbs more, hes running stock unported heads and bfg radial ta's, his car ran an 11.84 @ 116 on street tires
and you have to take into consideration im at sea level
