Well it´s time for a new project, and I need the strongest 318(LA) block for this built. Does anybody know which year or model(casting) that is the strongest? or is the castings the same on all engine blocks? It will be fun to see how much power a production block can withstand :-D

yup probably the caps will fail first and then if cylinders are to thin they will crack, from what litle reserch i have done about bosted smallblock mopars for myself i have found that keeping out of detonation is the only way to keep it alive and in one piece and not as easy as it seems!
cool project, saw a yellow dart or if it was a valiant(cant remember wish but it was a early one) with a turbod 318 a few years ago here in sthlm, fairly quick

I would think go with the magnum motor since they had roller Cams and you can go with a roller cam Turbo set up then look in Year one because I think they sell Main caps with 4 bolts. 2 in the regualr place then 2 coming from the side, not totaly sure
