I'm going to be building a 5.9 with single turbo .I read somewhere there are certain magnum manifolds to look for?which year and what vehicle did they come on?what makes them better then just any magnum manifolds ? Thanks

92-93 had the “big”outlet but you wouldn’t want to use that for turbo application. The standard 2”-2 1/4” outlet will do. I’m just using standard truck manifolds flipped and they work just fine. Some have used a header on the drivers side for space around the steering shaft. Lots of threads on this. Subcom, myself and others.

Good to know thanks.side note my duster has 240 rear gears what kind of gearing will be needed to run quarter mile with a gt45 5.9 ?I'm going for build close to subcoms .but he runs 1/8 I'm building more for 1/4 mile.

3:23 seems to be the preferred gear, others will chime in I’m sure . That’s what I’m running. But also depends on the goal. Turbo’s don’t want a lot of gear.

I used a Headman block hugger for the passenger side and a pacesetter for the drivers side. Seems like it worked out pretty well. I do have a pair of magnum manifolds and one block hugger if your looking. Depending on where your at the manifolds might be expensive to ship.
