Will this work with an 518? As in can you put it in drive and forget it, or is it for manual shift valve bodies. Thanks

Is the a518 electronic OD, in other wards no 4th depend in the transmission forward gears? If there are only 3 forward detents in the transmission then I would expect it will work just fine. The shifter will not move unless you move it. As long as the cable is adjusted so the #3 position aligns to your 3rd and last forward detent I would see no issue. A quick call to T/A would confirm.

Shifter will work on a 727 or a 904 per T/A's website.
