Hey FOAB's

I just replaced the bulbs on my Valiant and the blinkers don't blink! I have to manually shift left to right on order to create the effect. What would be a possible fix? Also, there is a blue switch left to the steering wheel and under the headlight button. I gathered through tests that this lit the lights to go reverse? Would this be the parking lights?:???::???::???:

Did any of 'em work BEFORE you replaced the bulbs?

What part no. did you use?

Have you tried a new flasher? (Please don't ask me where it is on a 65!!)

You have a wiring diagram? You should be able to probe the wiring connector under the column and see if you have power

Does ANY light work? Park? Tail? Stop?

MOST LIKELY a bad flasher

Even though you replaced all the bulbs, go make sure they are all lighting up. Could be a bad socket or ground on some of them. If one or more bulbs are not lighting up, it won't "load" the flasher enough and make it blink. And if you've got a factory 4-way flasher setup, it probably (if I remember correctly) uses a separate flasher unit, so make sure you replace the correct one.

UPDATE: My friend was able to address the issue. As you all had suspected, a faulty flasher. Thank you all for the list of possibilities!
