Twin post mirror

Has anyone ever replaced the actual mirror in a twin post mirror? Can this be done?

I've never replaced the mirror but have removed it. Push on the glass a little and you'll see a real thin piece of metal which is in a real thin groove around the mirror.. Pop that out and the glass will fall right out. Any decent glass shop should be able to make you a new one using your old as a template. Hope this helps

Did they all have the pentastar emblem on the back? If not is it a re-pop?

I have some that have them and some that dont . So imo no not all have the star .

Dart Doctor is correct - some were without (maybe dealer installed) and others had the pentastar on it (factory installed?). If I were using one, I'd want the Pentastar one.
