Hello all,

Quick question...... I recently picked up an original TX9 '72 Duster 340 with white interior, and was wondering if the factory ever did the "blacked out" hood treatment on the TX9 cars, but in white? I think I saw a few pics of a black car with the white Twister hood strobe stripes, but often wondered is they did the hood stripe/blackout treatment in white.

I found this pic on the web, but not sure if this is just something someone did or made up or if this is legit? Also, would the Go-Wing, if it had one, also be white?

The factory only did the hood in black.

Although its your car, the factory go wings were all black. The 71 style wing would be closest to "correct" for your car, not the 70 style.

Only thing that could be white are side stripes and interior. All blackouts and spoilers no matter the color were black.

Awesome info everyone. Yeah, my car is a TX9 car, white stripe, white interior with buckets and a console...... but it needs a lot. Basically just a roller.

Yeah, I have the '71 Go-Wing for it already.

Thanks again FABO!
